A class action lawsuit has been filed in behalf of residential homeowners in Nevada related to possible failures of Kitec brass fittings (case #A493302). Homebuilders in Washington, California, New Mexico, Oregon & Arizona widely used Kitec as a complete plumbing system including water flow tubes that were connected to Kitec brass fittings, prior to January 1st 2005. According to the Nevada class action, Kitec brass fittings may be problematic. The group of homebuilders includes some national and many local or regional homebuilders in each state.
