New Hallmark Card Studio 2008 Software Offers More High-Quality Greeting Card Possibilities Than Ever Before: Just in Time for the Holidays, Hallma
CALABASAS, Calif. (Business Wire EON) November 28, 2007 -- "We are very excited about the 2008 editions of Hallmark Card Studio, as they offer our customers an unprecedented array of greeting card options and creative projects," said Barry Evleth, Director of Product Marketing for Creative Home. "This enhanced software provides many new features to create more personalized, hand-crafted products with the Hallmark quality that consumers trust and appreciate."
Both the deluxe and standard editions of Hallmark Card Studio 2008 enable consumers to be prepared for any occasion by giving them the ability to quickly and easily create personalized cards and projects from the convenience of their own homes. The software quickly pays for itself with the standard version selling for $29.99 and the deluxe version affordably priced at $49.99.
"As more and more consumers enjoy creating, personalizing and sharing greetings, Creative Home Software has become a valuable partner for the Hallmark brand," said Tom Esselman, Director of New Concept Development at Hallmark.
The 2008 editions of Hallmark Card Studio enable consumers to benefit from more than 90 years of Hallmark's experience in creating eye-catching and memorable cards. With the software, consumers can easily turn their home computers into real card-making machines. Hallmark Card Studio 2008 offers consumers more than 4,400 Hallmark cards and projects in the basic version and more than 8,000 professionally designed cards and projects in the deluxe version.
Consumers can quickly select a professionally designed Hallmark greeting card to print or e-mail, or have fun with the software's suite of personalization features and brand new user interface that makes it easier than ever to produce custom projects. The software has more clip art images, with 8,000 in the standard version and more than 15,000 in the deluxe version, as well as exclusive Hallmark fonts.
The software has card templates designed for all occasions, including birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and weddings among many others. New to both editions of Hallmark Card Studio is the addition of Spanish language cards and 3D cards and projects, further expanding the software's capabilities.
In addition to creating cards and projects, both editions of Hallmark Card Studio 2008 offer a complete event planner and address book for mailing lists and date notifications to make sure an important event is never forgotten. The software also includes an enhanced digital photography feature that allows users to add their own photos to cards and adjust them using an improved photo editor.
When it's time to print their customized Hallmark greeting cards, consumers can use Hallmark Premium Blank Greeting Cards, which are made from high quality, heavyweight and coated card stock. The blank greeting cards print vibrant color and crisper text, and they are designed to work seamlessly with Hallmark Card Studio software and color inkjet printers.
Users will need to have a PC with Microsoft Windows XP or Vista; a Pentium III 500 MHz or faster; 600 MB of hard disk space (2 GB for full install); CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drive; 1024 x 768 screen with 16-bit color; and a color printer.
